About Glen
I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved with my family to Renton, Washington, a suburb of Seattle, as a child. I attended public schools and graduated from the University of Washington in 1961.
After living in Seattle, the Washington D.C. area, and Ireland, Betty Kay and I moved to Pawleys Island in 1996 after retiring from The Boeing Company. All four grown children
 live in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C. -- Lynn and her husband, Rich; Adam and his wife, Debby, Lisa and her husband Mike; and my youngest son, John. So far, we have three wonderful granddaughters, Ashley, Kayla, and Jessica.
I am running for County Council because of an interest in seeing that the political process works to the benefit of the citizens on the Waccamaw Neck, so we are able to preserve and enhance our quality of life. My record of community leadership, political activities, professional experience, and education provide a solid foundation for the challenges of serving as a Georgetown County Councilman.
