Thank you for taking a few minutes to get to know me and what I stand for. My name is Glen O’Connell. I am a candidate for the District 6 Seat on the Georgetown County Council.
I am a candidate for County Council because I have an interest in seeing that the political process works to the benefit of the citizens on the Waccamaw Neck, so we are able to preserve and enhance our quality of life.
My record of community leadership, political activities, professional experience, and education provide a solid foundation for the challenges of serving as a Georgetown County Councilman.
We need to want and demand excellence from County Council and County Government in managing the growth that is coming to Georgetown County and the Waccamaw Neck. I can provide the leadership to do that!
